The TSPlus installation instructions do say "On Windows Server Environment (2003 to 2016) please make sure that the TSE/RDS role and the TSE/RDS licensing role are not installed to prevent conflict with TSplus services." but I can't find "RDS role" or "RDS licensing role" listed as active anywhere. They also made it more complete and complex than just for single servers. Microsoft made a lot of improvement on Terminal Services compared to the previous versions. When I try to RDP into the server I get an error "The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license.". Windows : Install Remote Desktop Services on Server 2016 without a domain / Active Directory. There were no problems or errors during installation of TSPlus and I rebooted the machine at the end of installation. FYI the machine is in a workgroup and not domain and I have administrator access. Today I tried TSPlus (trial of latest version) on a Windows Server 2016 test machine and am completely stuck.
